Craig is the Chief Executive Officer of Braithwaite Global Inc. (BGI), the country’s leading specialty provider of tax credits and incentives with a massive international reach. Craig works with American businesses both small and large to develop custom plans to take advantage of the numerous tax credits and incentives that governments around the world have allocated.
Craig came to BGI from another provider where he worked in tax controversy and defended hundreds of clients’ complex audits, mediations, and appeals throughout the entire administrative process and even in federal court. From this vast nation-wide experience in seeing what the IRS focuses on in examinations, Craig and his team of skilled R&D professionals have crafted a unique study process that conservatively qualifies and quantifies R&D credits.
Prior to joining the tax credits and incentives world, Craig was a trial and complex litigation attorney working for national Am Law 100 firms defending clients throughout the United States in highly publicized lawsuits. Additionally, prior to law school Craig worked for some of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the world including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Grant Thornton, and FTI Consulting.
Craig earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in both Finance and Accounting and his J.D. from The University of Arizona. Recently, Craig was a speaker at the Bloomberg BNA Research and Development Tax Credit Symposium in Washington, D.C.
Having spent his entire professional career as a consultant, Craig understands the incredible importance of outstanding client service and this is something that he and his team take great pride in providing to all current and future clients.
